Come back to yourself

Life can be full, meaningful and good — and still leave us feeling a little disconnected.

We can get caught up in work, family, responsibilities, screens and the endless things that need our attention. Before long, we're moving through our days without quite being present for them.

Kindled is an invitation to step out of that pace for a while.

Over seven weeks, we'll gather online in a small group to slow down, pay attention and explore simple ways of feeling more grounded, connected and alive in everyday life.

This isn't about escaping ordinary life or becoming someone different.

It's about learning to experience the life you're already living differently.

A lived practice, not another course to complete

Kindled isn't a theory course or another collection of things to learn.

Each week we'll gather in circle around the virtual campfire, creating a space to arrive, listen, practise and connect.

We'll explore:

  • nature-based and embodied practices

  • guided reflection and meditation

  • journalling and quiet time

  • pair and small-group sharing

  • simple ways of bringing what we're exploring into everyday life

Over the seven weeks, our practice moves through the four elements — air, earth, fire and water — each bringing its own quality of attention.

The hearth fire becomes a place we return to each week: a shared point of connection and a reminder to slow down, listen and come back to what matters.

Although we meet online, this isn't something you'll simply sit and watch. You'll be invited to participate, practise, share and connect with the other people in the group.

What you might notice

There is no particular outcome you need to achieve.

But over the seven weeks, you may begin to notice:

  • feeling more grounded and present in daily life

  • a slower, less rushed relationship with time and attention

  • more ease returning to centre when life feels full

  • simple practices that you actually want to keep using

  • a clearer sense of what supports you and what drains you

  • a deeper feeling of connection to yourself, others and nature

Kindled isn't about fixing yourself.

It's about becoming more attentive to what is already here — and discovering what becomes possible when you do.

Why I created Kindled

I remember what it felt like to belong ….. dancing at festivals until sunrise, working on projects with people who felt like family, dreaming up better ways of living together.

That sense of magic, of being part of something bigger, used to come easily.

As I got older, life didn't leave room for gathering like that anymore. But the pull towards that feeling never left.

What replaced it was nature — sitting by a fire, asking honest questions, finding rhythm and reverence in ordinary days rather than in one big night.

As a parent, these simple practices have grounded me and inspired me again and again whenever I've lost touch with what truly matters.

I believe the small choices we make every day either build a culture of connection and healing, or they don't.

Finding my way back to that feeling — in everyday life, not just in rare moments — took me into nature and different cultural traditions. I now call what I found everyday spirituality and connected self-leadership.

Kindled is one way I share what I've learned.

It's for anyone who knows that how we live each day matters — not as a project, but as a practice.

I bring to this a background as a social worker, life coach and ecotherapist, alongside a decade of training in ceremony and nature connection with Sal Gencarelle and the Helpers Mentoring Society, grounded in Jon Young's Eight Shields model.

Is this for you?

Kindled is for you if you feel the pull towards something more grounded, connected and real.

You might be:

  • navigating a change or transition

  • juggling work, family and the complexity of everyday life

  • longing for more presence, spaciousness or connection

  • interested in nature, reflection, spirituality or personal growth

  • someone who wants to live more consciously without turning your life into another self-improvement project

You don't need to share a particular belief system.

Just curiosity and a willingness to show up and take part.

How does it work ?

Each week, we gather.

Our two-hour sessions will have a simple rhythm.

We'll arrive together and land in the circle, before moving into a guided practice — nature-based, reflective or embodied.

There'll be space for sharing, journalling and quiet reflection, with invitations to take what we're exploring into your everyday life.

We'll close together around the virtual campfire.

Across the seven weeks, we'll explore the qualities of:

Air · Earth · Fire · Water

Each offering a different way of paying attention and relating to ourselves, one another and the natural world.

You'll also receive a personal reflection booklet to accompany the journey.

What you'll take with you

By the end of the seven weeks, you'll have:

  • a simple set of practices that support grounding and presence

  • a lived experience of slowing down and reconnecting with life

  • a clearer sense of what supports you and what drains you

  • a small, supportive group experience

  • a personal reflection booklet

  • practices you can continue in your own rhythm

A certificate of attendance is available on request for anyone who needs to log CPD hours.

Everyday spirituality

By everyday spirituality, I don't mean religion or a particular set of beliefs.

I mean the simple moments of attention, gratitude, beauty and connection that remind us what really matters.

A walk where you suddenly notice the light.

Sitting quietly beside a fire.

Taking a breath before responding.

Listening properly to someone you love.

Noticing what your body is telling you.

Remembering that you're part of something much larger than yourself.

These moments are ordinary.

But they can change the way we experience our lives.

If you have any questions about whether Kindled is right for you, you're welcome to get in touch.

You don't need to change your whole life ~

  • You don't need another course to complete.

  • You don't need to become a better version of yourself.

  • You don't need to escape your ordinary life.

You simply need a little space to pay attention to it.

The culture we're building starts with how we live, today.

Not through perfection. Not through escape. But through simple practices we return to again and again.

    Come and kindle it.
