There are some things that are better experienced together.
Alongside my programmes and deeper journeys, I hold a handful of smaller gatherings in and around Hebden Bridge and Manchester. These are spaces to come together, connect with nature, tend to ourselves and each other, and mark the seasons.
Some happen regularly. Others emerge as the year unfolds.
Inipi | Sacred Sweat Lodge
Monthly gatherings
We hold regular Inipi ceremonies, a sacred cleansing ceremony held for the wellbeing of life on this planet, both collectively and individually.
The ceremony takes place inside a low willow lodge, where heated stones are brought into the central pit and water is poured onto them to create steam. It is elemental, physically powerful, emotionally honest and spiritually awakening.
Lena has been working within this tradition for around ten years, and pouring Inipi for the past seven, within the Woptika lineage of the Lakota people, through the mentoring and guidance of Sal Gencarelle and the Helpers Mentoring Society.
No previous experience is needed. Full guidance and orientation are given on the day.
Seasonal Gatherings
Solstices, Equinoxes and other moments to pause and mark the turning
Throughout the year I gather people around fire, food, nature, reflection and simple ceremony to notice where we are in the cycle of the seasons and in our own lives.
These are warm, accessible gatherings for adults, families and anyone who wants to step out of the usual rush for a while and reconnect with what matters.

Wild Voice
Singing, nature and the joy of making sound together
I’m hoping to begin offering Wild Voice workshops outside and at Soul Space in Sowerby Bridge over the coming months.
These will be playful, earthy and welcoming spaces to explore voice, singing and connection with each other and the natural world. No singing experience or musical ability needed.
